In this video we explore two ways of creating a simple cone in sketchup. METHOD 1 1. Create a circle (increase the number of sides on your circle to get a smoother cone) 2. Create a vertical triangular shape using the center of the circle and the edge of the circle. 3. Use the followme tool to move your triangular shape around your circle to create a cone. METHOD 2 1. Create a circle (increase the number of sides on your circle to get a smoother cone) 2. Pull your circle to make a cylinder 3. Select the top face of the cylinder, hit 's' to scale. While scaling, hold ctrl to scale uniformly and scale the top of the cylinder down into a conical shape. What kind of cool stuff are you creating with cones in sketchup?
