DERMPAV's RM58 is Seen departing Seymour on 8398 special back to Melbourne, and then a bit later cresting the grade at Heathcote Jnc, something it no doubt did thousands of times during it's service with the Victorian Railways. Sat 07/05/11 The DERM ( Diesel Electric Rail Motor ) was originally built by the VR's Newport Workshops in 1930 as a Petrol Electric, but was later converted to Diesel Electric in 1952.
