Dr. Bryant Walrod is an assistant professor of family medicine within the sports medicine program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He specializes in primary care sports medicine, sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal health. He is also a team physician for The Ohio State University's athletic department.

""The most rewarding thing I do is getting the patient back to their level of activity,"" he said. ""It could be something simple like getting them into a 5K, or even completing a full marathon or an Ironman.""

Sports are a big part of life for Dr. Walrod, who has practiced medicine for more than 15 years. He has completed multiple marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and he was a high-level collegiate boxer.
