I've gone for a mixed media, colour explosion, art journal page this week with this hand drawn, hot-colours flower on a gradient jewel-coloured background. It's all built from layers and I share with you all the stages from my initial inspiration that kicked-started the page through to the final steps to balance and harmonise the design.

It is another play in my junk journal and I am trying out the Sennelier Abstract acrylic paints. Have you used these? Let me know if you have and what you think about them in the comments. Also let me know what your current favourite acrylic paint brand is! I would love to know.

I've also used patterned paper collage, Faber-Castell Gelatos, a Posca pen and some Prismacolor pencils for this page, so it really is a mixed media piece!

As always do link me up to anything you create inspired by my videos in social media, my links are below, and you never know I might give you a shout-out in one of my videos!

And if you enjoy my videos please like them, share them with your friends and subscribe to my channel! Thank you!
