The first part of the video, taken at baseline (ie, before gene therapy), shows that the patient was hypokinetic and did not have head control. The second part of the video, taken 9 months after gene therapy, shows that the patient was able to turn over on both sides and that he had gained head control. The patient was also able to hold large balls and grasp small bricks or sticks with his hands.
