The Hitachi Group is a special sponsor of the Billion Tree Campaign in Thailand. On July 19, 2008, at the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park, the opening ceremony and memorial planting took place. Princess Sirindhorn of the Thai royal family attended the planting ceremony and some scenes from this are introduced in the digest.
