All they wanted to do was send me their item with no strings attached. I didn't have to use it in any of my videos, they just wanted to send me their items. Deal! I figured I would do a video anyway because if all you had to do was open a can of petite diced tomatoes and add in 2 tablespoons of their seasoning and I'd have salsa, I had to share this with you all! Yes, you can make your own salsa, but why bother when it is this simple? Some homes don't have all the spices available as well, since I often get questions like, "do I *have* to put oregano in this?" Well, yes. Otherwise the flavor is just not the same. Either way, you can find them at http://www.jdsalsa.com/ The cost at the time of this video is $20 for one quart sized can + $4.95 for shipping. $40 + $4.95 shipping for two cans. They are HUGE and will last you quite a bit. If you tend to like your salsa medium, one scoop of hot + one scoop of mild is a little hotter than mild. I used 1-1/2 mild and 1/2 hot and it seemed perfect for me and mother (who does not like hot salsa, or hot anything for that matter). You can also use less than full scoops if you don't like it as spicy too. Or even double up to two cans of petite diced and 2 tablespoons of the seasoning. The seasoning can be used for much more than just salsa! You can use it as a rub on meats and fish. I will be using this a lot more in the future. They have recipes on their website! In this video I said there was a little too much of something but couldn't identify it. Later I realized it was cumin. I think I am going to shake my jar up a little more and evenly distribute things again ;)
