I've found the first thing to go on my climbing skins is the stickiness of the tail. This is likely the first section of the skin to go because it's constantly being handled and has more exposure to snow. As soon as they get wet, they lose their stick and this makes them vulnerable to dirt and debris, making them even less sticky. Luckily it's an easy fix that takes about 5 minutes.

1. Get the glue - http://skimo.co/black-diamond-skin-parts
2. Get a hair dryer or Heat gun
3. Heat up section you want to clean
4. Once the glue has beaded up, scrape off clean with wax scraper
5. Apply glue evenly using scraper or cardboard
5. Let glue dry for 8 hours before use.
