I built a large Radian clone I call "Gradian". Based on the One Sheet Glider design on RCGroups:

This is all dollar tree foam board with the paper off. Makes it a very light build. I didn't follow the plans exactly. I cut a lot of corners, used mostly hot glue instead of Gorilla Glue. Only added one 2.5mm carbon fiber spar in the center section of the main wing.

Decided to try a "light" power setup. This was a mistake. The winds on this day were 15-20mph and tossed this bird around bad.

Going with a 300mah 2 cell lipo was not enough in terms of nose weight to get the CG right. It was too tail heavy and it didn't provide enough power to penetrate the wind.

There was a lot of wing flex. I probably needed another carbon fiber spar, but it held up okay.

Specs: 60 in wingspan. 27 in length, AUW is 178g.
Motor: HexTronik 20g Brushless Outrunner 2300kv
Prop: GWS 7x3.5
OrangeRX Receiver
Two 3.7g micro servos
10amp ESC
2s 300mah Lipo
