http://www.GopherSports.com Moment number seven on our countdown features one of the most memorable experiences in recent Gopher Basketball history – the 2014 Armed Forces Classic.

While the game itself, a November 14 match-up with Rick Pitino’s Louisville Cardinals, didn’t go as planned for the Maroon and Gold, the experience in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico was unforgettable for the Gophers.

Minnesota’s players were able to hit the beach, interact with service members and much more before going head-to-head with the then Top 10-ranked Cardinals. The game was played in a Coast Guard hangar at the East end of Rafael Hernandez International Airport, which normally houses their four MH-65 helicopters.
