Some more information in description below: The reusable RAM writer allows you to write any value to most of RAM, which is basically like setting a value with GameShark. The quantities are reset to 0 (x256) afterwards, allowing you to quickly use it again by tossing the amounts you need (e.g. setting 0x15 to D059 will give Mew, and this is like 011559D0 but not locked). However, if you modify the below set up to not reset the quantities and the write C9 to FF80, 22 to FF81, D3 to FF82, followed by C3 to FF80, it can lock the values like GameShark at the cost of breaking overworld sprites. It is documented here: https://glitchcity.info/wiki/Reusable_RAM_writer If you don't want the quantities to reset to x0 (x256), place the TM01 directly after the Poké Ball x119. ; and to get it, it requires the expanded items pack for https://glitchcity.info/wiki/Celadon_looping_map_glitch This time we showcase how to set it up for 4F instead of 8F, using a 'custom map script' (represented by Water Stone x211 in item 41) to redirect 4F to item slot 3. This allows you to use any party Pokémon/stored PC Pokémon you want, at the cost of the Day Care Pokémon. After you get the hang of this, you can do it with a in-game play time under an hour, with a lot of it being just item farming and adjusting x0 (x256) quantities to match the items. We also do it with the SRAM glitch, allowing us to access the expanded items pack at the beginning of the game, with the only things you'll have to do as removing Cancel from slot 3, fixing the expanded party and optional things like getting the Pokédex, all the badges (however in this method, you'll need at least the Thunder Badge for Fly). This is partly inspired by a viewer who wanted to know how to change your Trainer ID and OT. With this glitch, you can change anything in writable memory so say you wanted to change party Pokémon 1's details (if it was Mew), you'd make the following changes. 22796 ID: d177: $59 d178: $0c In practice (using a hexadecimal to decimal converter like Windows Calculator on programmer mode): Use 4F with these configurations: 1. Lemonade x89, Carbos x209, X Accuracy x119 2. Lemonade x12, Carbos x209, X Accuracy x120 "GF" OT: d273: $86 d274: $85 d275: $50 In practice: Use 4F with these configurations: 1. Lemonade x134, Carbos x210, X Accuracy x`115 2. Lemonade x133, Carbos x210, X Accuracy x116 3. Lemonade x80, Carbos x210, X Accuracy x117 This will give you the "GF" Mew transferable to Pokémon Bank (I don't endorse transferring it and it might be risky to your account). For more codes, convert the RAM addresses here: https://github.com/pret/pokered/blob/master/wram.asm For instance, wCurOpponent is D059, hence you'd write a Lemonade quantity value to Carbos x 208 (hex:D0 converted) and X Accuracy x 89 (hex:59 converted) to encounter a Pokémon when the menu is closed.
