Appropriate Antibiotic Use in the Community Setting

These infections include acute bronchitis, sore throat, ear infection, and sinusitis. However, the benefits of antibiotics are highly dependent upon the specific infection. Antibiotics are associated with complications in some patients, including allergies and other side effects. Additionally, zinc and other agents offer potential benefit in the treatment of infection, particularly those associated with viruses. B.
