Aadhaar is an electronic leash and the government could completely destroy the identity of an individual by switching off the 12-digit unique identifier number, told senior lawyer Shyam Divan to the Supreme Court. A five-judge Constitution bench of the Supreme Court was hearing the matter related to the constitutional validity of the Aadhaar. (Audio in Hindi)
