In his mind-widening talk, Hannes Tegelbeckers explains, how coding lessons change a mostly illiterate community in Guatemala and what that could mean for the way, we are teaching children. Hannes Tegelbeckers ist Verfechter von Menschenrechten und zukunftsorientierten Bildungsvisionen. Er ist als wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft an der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg tätig und promoviert im Bereich der Medienbildung. Ehrenamtlich betreut er seit 8 Jahren den Verein Li Ch’utam Deutschland e.V., der sich mit der Bildungssituation im ländlichen Guatemala auseinandersetzt.
