Milk cooler stopped working Friday night (Compressor) Breakdowns ALWAYS happen here at the weekend ! It was Tuesday before i could get a new one so was forced to dump milk into slurry pit for 3 days - 6 milkings (Approx 10,000 litres @ 24.7 pence per litre or 28 Euro cents. ) UK milk is now by far the cheapest in Europe - at least 4ppl cheaper than the next lowest.
