These two are more than 3 months old now, but they are taking their own sweet time weaning. They are being fed 3 times a day. It will be at least another 2 weeks before they are weaned. Sometimes I will have a caique baby weaned at 10 weeks, but sometimes it takes up to 16 weeks to wean a caique. It seems like my winter babies take longer to wean and also develop quite a bit slower at the beginning. I am not sure why, I suspect humidity has something to do with it. Whether they wean at 10 weeks or 16 or more weeks they are all wonderful!! :-)
