How the Coral Reef aquarium hobby can give back to you.
In this video I will be explaining and showing how the coral reef aquarium hobby can give back to you. Leave comment below and tell me how the coral reef aquarium hobby has have back to you. How do you benefit from the hobby? What is in it for you? Does the hobby ever pay back to you? Let me know! This is a random video I made unexpectedly at the time my client came to my place and hand picked his desired coral from my 125 gallon coral reef fish tank. He purchased a large plate 12"-14" of red montipora sps coral. As well as 2 RBTA rose bubble tip anemones mounted onto a 5lb piece of live rock from my established almost 2 year old reef tank.
I started with this red montipora frag roughly 11 months ago I purchased it for 10$ at roughly a loonie size 1"-1.5" roughly and now I have this beautiful red Montipora coral all over my reef tank built into the wall custom build by myself. Therefore, the coral reef aquarium hobby has gave back to me by growing this amazing montipora and Anemones and continuously reproducing and allowing me to frag and sell corals from my reef tank. So a 10$ piece of coral can grown into $100+ worth of coral and can pay for you to continue to have a successful coral reef fish tank. This is a learning experience and not all coral will grow this fast. Remember patients is key. It doesn't happen over night or within a few weeks. It takes time.
Don't get discouraged as sometimes the hobby can make you feel this way. But once you make it and have accomplished your goals it feels great to feel the self of accomplishment! This video is to inspire others new and within the hobby to see and understand that there are many benefits within the hobby and how it does pay you back for your hard work!
