This talk was given at the Fall 2016 American Physical Society Meeting at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts to an audience of about twenty people. General relativity predicts that neither the electric or magnetic fields change in a gravity field. That sounds odd. The quaternion gravity proposal predicts the electric field does not change but the magnetic field that uses a spatial operator and a 3-vector potential does change. This means the Poynting vector, ExB, is predicted to be constant in a gravity field for GR, but change for the quaternion gravity proposal.
