This race is Heat 2 of the Division 5 (D5) Girls from the 2018 CIF-ss (Southern Section) Cross Country Prelims meet held on November 10 at the Riverside Cross Country Course.  The course is 3 miles.  The Prelims meet decides the 24 teams and up to 15 individuals in each division that will compete in the Finals meet held on the following weekend.

Commentary:  Isis Diaz came into her frosh year as a 2-time defending regional Jr. Olympics champion so she is the real thing.  She'll grab second at Finals the following week and 8th at State.
Flintridge gets #5 in the 19th position and dominates this heat.  The Defending State Champs end up second at CIF-ss Finals and 3rd at State.  4 of their top 5 are seniors.
