Lexus has officially unveiled its first-ever compact crossover, the All-New UX. According to the company, the new model offers the brand’s luxury appeal and safety with its new design elements and a new powertrain. Additionally, the Lexus UX is inspired by the traditional Japanese concept of Engawa that blurs the boundary between a home’s exterior and interior, designers created a feeling of seamless continuity inside the UX. For example, the upper section of the instrument panel extends out beyond the windshield and gives the driver a 360° birds-eye view of the car and its surroundings. The Lexus UX is available in two front-wheel drive versions: the UX 200 and the UX 200 F Sport. The actual virtual unveiling of the All-New Lexus UX was cancelled due to the untimely demise of Toyota Motor Philippines’ patriarch, Mr. George SK Ty. STV joins in praying for the eternal repose of his soul.
