The trail for a missing man in Transylvania County turns cold. 66-year-old Dennis Boyd from Georgia disappeared last May. His car was found abandoned off route 215 near the Blue Ridge Parkway. The vehicle had been abandoned. For days rescue crews searched the area for Boyd, but were unable to find any clues. Detectives were hoping that as the season's changed, more leads would start rolling in. Boyd's son says his father is bi-polar and was off his medication. It's his hope that his dad went to a hospital or a mental health facility and was unable to give them his information. If you have any information about Dennis Boyd's disappearance, call the Transylvania County Sheriff's Office.
