Peach's castle never seems to be in the same place twice, does it? Perhaps she just has a ton of 'em! Welcome to Fortune Street! The not-Monopoly game that has you attacking with stocks and hostile takeovers as well as the usual compulsory consumer consumption! Also there's Mario and Dragon Quest elements. --- We had tried this board once before but everything kinda fell apart when someone (me) had to leave for a few minutes. These games will quit on ya in a pretty short amount of time! Uh... also I'm talking like we were streaming at the time, and we were! But this is a locally recorded copy so no potential of stream errors! Right, the board. Uh... it's Peach's Castle! Lots of options of movement and so on and just watch't, will ya? ----- Anyway, if you want to know more about rules and stuff, uh... 1. You wanna collect all the suits and then make it back to the bank. This gets you your salary that you can use for devious means (Think Passing Go). 2. You wanna buy properties. They do things. Like Monopoly. People land on them and they have to pay the price listed to you. The more properties you own in a district (same color area) the more the prices increase! 3. You wanna buy stock. Stock prices fluctuate. A lot. And they mostly always go up, so it's a good strategy to buy as much stock as you can when you can. (Only 99 at a time though!) 4. You wanna invest in your properties. Each property has capital which indicates how much money you can dump in it. The capital increases the more of that same color property (district) you own. When you invest in your property the prices increase (money spent for landing on it) and the stock values increase. Usually a LOT. For example, if you have 100 stock you purchased for 10g apiece (so 1000g total) in District A and you invested in district A enough to boost the stock price to 20 g apiece, you've just made your total stock value there 2000g. Profit of 1k! 5. You win when your net worth gets over the target amount. Net worth does NOT drop when you spend your money, because the value of your properties and stocks are counted in it. So, spend-spend-spend! That's the basics. Buy properties, buy stocks, invest in properties you have stocks in. in that order. Usually. 'cause if you invest without stocks in it, you don't reap the benefits of the stock increasing, yeah? There are more advanced techniques and the like and you'll prolly hear us exclaiming about it in the video as when such things happen.
