She was not in talking terms with her father because she married someone against her father’s consent. From 1993 to 2003, she was a leading actress. She has won several awards for her acting. She also appeared in the serial Kolangal in Sun TV. 

His brother Nakul is also a popular actor. He made his debut as an actor in the film Boys and then appeared in films like Kathalil  Vilunthen, Indru Netru Naalai and much more.
