For the latest news across Belize, visit: http://edition.channel5belize.com/ St. Matthew’s Government School in the Cayo District has been preyed upon by thieves more times this year than it has ever been since opening its doors to the children of that community several years ago. On Saturday, a classroom adjacent to the principal’s office was broken into and stolen from inside were a number of stationeries and other items. The burglary is the sixth for this year so far and the administration is urging government and other relevant authorities to come to its rescue. Today, Vice Principal Neida Trejo told News Five that the thieves have relentlessly targeted the primary school.
