Cheeky elephant spotted stealing rice from village home

A farmer from Thadagam in Coimbatore, India, kept waking up to find his food store had been raided. After setting a trap with rice and a camera, he was shocked to discover the thief was an elephant. The wild elephant is well-known for roaming in their village and even has a name - Vinayaka. The footage showed the elephant creeping up to the food store and using its trunk to reach out and take some rice from the sack.
