Katie Ellen is a twangy, fuzzy indie punk band fronted by Anika Pyle (formerly of Chumped). This project showcases Pyle's skills as a songwriter, allowing her to expand outside the standard pop punk formula into folkier, more abstract territory. The band incorporates ambient post rock, spunky pop, indie rock and crunchy punk influences into a flexible sound with a strong narrative focus.
