What's Up Heathens! Today we are going through the story of Ruth and the Kin Redeemer. Trust me, she's not going to have any say in this and will definitely be treated as property.

So basically, Ruth was married to a son of Naomi. Ruth was a Moabite and Naomi was living in Moabite Lands. God wasn't having this because you know God loves to keep his people segregated. So God kills Naomi's husband and her sons. She's still faithful to God though because she knows its really her fault but she is so bitter about it she changes her name. Naomi decides to go back to Bethlehem where God won't continue to ruin her life. She tells Ruth to go back home and Ruth clings to her saying "No, I will die with you." Frustrated, Naomi takes Ruth back to Bethlehem. Luckily Ruth stumbles upon Boaz's field and picks up the leftovers that the Jews are supposed to leave for the peasants.

Apparently, Boaz is a kissing cousin for Naomi and Ruth because he is one of the Kin Redeemers. Boaz wants to tap that Ruth booty but he has to do it officially and stuff. So he allows the other kin redeemer to have his shot. Lucky for Boaz, that redeemer is allergic to women (I'm guessing gay, but who knows). So Boaz takes Ruth as a wife and has Jesse (The grandfather of David).
