UNDP and FECO (China’s Foreign Economic Cooperation Office) are working together to reduce the use of ozone-depleting substances & greenhouse gas emissions from refrigeration technology. They're swapping out damaging chemicals for natural ones, one of which is an Ammonia and CO2 Cascade refrigeration system. The initiative received the “Exemplary Project Award” in the 2017 Ozone Awards.
