Weaving narratives on silver screen and composing tunes may preoccupy him, but Vishal Bhardwaj consumes media to keep track of the world. And he views journalism as 'first draft of history'. But he has his critical take on news media- dramatization and trivialization of news and media debates. He views choice of his newspapers and channels as a matter of habit and is amused by the 'musical' Hindi news.
