Although the lyrics don't completely go with the sentiment, the chorus certainly does. This song was popular when my daughter, Nicole, was born in 1982. I always loved that name & gave it to my 1st born, baby girl. I used to walk around with her in my arms, singing this chorus to her, when she was a baby. I love you Baby Girl.
