As the number of children with severe food allergies grows, parents are finding that their worries are beginning to be heard in some high places. More than 100 laws or regulations have been instituted by U.S. states in the past decade to address food allergies, which reflects a growing acknowledgement by public officials of the widespread dangers of severe allergies.
