This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Antropology as a starting point to understand education and our knowledge.

Trina Milan holds a PhD in Social and Cultural Anthropology, a Bachelor of Arts and is the Master of Business Boards EADA. She is the CEO of Platxèria SL, Advice and consulting service, social networking and digital content creation and development. She also presides the Association STIC. CAT (Association for Technology and Knowledge Society), UOC professor at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and Foxize School. 

She is the advisor and mentor for Incubio (business start-up accelerator) program and linktogrowup Inlea Foundation and advisor to the center of Santa Monica Arts Barcelona. She was the commercial director at the Catalunya Government department of Social Media Education and in charge of design of the Digital Identity Plan of the Department of Education. She was also Project Manager for the digital campaign Rosell candidacy for the presidency of Barcelona FB, Project Manager SM Fira de Barcelona, Parliament of Catalunya and the University of Girona. 

She is a regular contributor to  Radio 4, Radio Catalonia COM Radio, at the blog of ESADE and El Periódico de Catalunya.

Trina Milan és doctora en Antropologia Social i Cultural, Llicenciada en filosofia i lletres i Màster en Consells d’Administració d’Empresa EADA. És CEO a Platxèria SL, empresa de Assessorament i consultoria a internet, xarxes socials i creació i desenvolupament de continguts digitals. També és Presidenta de l’Associació STIC.CAT (associació Societat de Tecnologia i Coneixement), professora de la UOC, de la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya I Foxize School.

Advisor i mentora de Incubio (empresa acceleradora d’start-ups), del programa Linktogrowup i la Fundació Inlea, així com advisor del centre d’Arts Santa Mònica de Barcelona. Va ser DIRCOM Social Media del Departament d’Educació de la Generalitat de Catalunya i responsable del disseny del Pla d’Identitat Digital del Departament d’Educació. També va ser Project Manager de la campanya electoral digital de la candidatura de Sandro Rosell a la presidència del FB Barcelona, Project Manager SM per la Fira de Barcelona, Parlament de Catalunya I la Universitat de Girona.

Col·laboradora habitual de mitjans de comunicació com Ràdio 4, Catalunya Ràdio, COM Ràdio, el bloc d’ESADE i El Periódico de Catalunya.
