Secret has come to me on sales livery as his owner believed him to be more capable than she could give him credit as she prefers to hack. She's turned out to be right, he's a true gentleman and trier of a horse, always wanting to please and willing to give something a go. He's good at pulling grumpy faces, but a quick pat and he soon softens to the idea.

Video taken at Eland Lodge on 16/02/2017. This is genuinely the first time he has seen solid fences, steps and water in only his second outing. He's clever, but not so much that he takes control.

He's soft to a fence, takes you forward without rushing, lovely rhythm throughout. Can get excited but the worst he does is quicken. Never bucks or rears. Napped with me once on our one outing in the collecting ring, video to show if anyone wants to see the extent of his 'tantrum'.

Schooling well on the flat. Within 4 weeks he's learnt to take a contact, move away from the leg correctly, and work from the riders seat. Has picked up basic lateral movements in one session, started simple changes and some basic medium strides. Could go out and perform a half decent novice test next week and score 60%+. If not sold within two weeks he'll be subjected to the white boards with me.

Always snaffle mouthed. He came with a Waterford loose ring but I haven't had to use it.
Hacks brilliantly in company, on his own may sometimes nap, but with a positive rider to send him forward he's fine. I've never had any issue with him regarding this.

Easy to do, comes to call in the field, good to groom, tack up (although pulls faces), shoe, clip, loads himself onto a box or trailer (can video if required).

His one drawback is that he windsucks. His last yard, through no fault of his own or owner's didn't have any turnout or facilities, and staying in with no exercise did stress him out. He stops with a collar on, and the wind sucking has become less and less whilst he's in work and being turned out daily. This has been taken into account with his pricing.

Can be turned out with mates or geldings. Prefers a friend to being on his own.

Can be seen tonight (17/02/17) at Field House Marchington jumping the 70cm and 80cm.

Serious enquiries only. No joy riders or novices. This horse will go far in the right hands, if I didn't have a full yard I would be eventing him this season.
