Here I am, using my engraving jig to work on my custom cross project. I'm using the cape chisel I showed how to make in the previous video. 

In my previous engraving jig video, I covered making an engraving jig.I made this engraving tool to hold a hand forged cross I was working on. 

There are a lot of handy engraving tools for metal that you can make for yourself. This is one of them. This engraving vice takes a good while to make. The first step for the engraving vice plans is marking the holes. Next on the DIY engraving vice, you will drill your holes. The following step for your hand engraving vice is cleaning the surface. Blacksmith tools and equipment consist of a wide variety of tools. There isn't one right or wrong blacksmith tool list. It's what works for you and the jobs you have to do! 

I hope you found this engravers vice handy. It's similar to an engravers ball vise that is on the market. It would be a handy tool to have at the engravers workbench. 

This engravers block is a bit different than my regular blacksmith tool making. But my motto is make the right blacksmith tools for the job!
