Hurray another commentary from me! =D
Well, it starts out with me talking about being in a laggy lobby but then I totally switched topics 2 minutes in.
So I want to say that I want to work on avoiding sentence fillers such as "ums" and  "uhs".
Those sentence fillers are the habits of everyone who do commentaries, make presentations or speeches.
I counted around 22-23 "uhs" and "ums" in this commentary alone even though I said 5 lol.
So yea, if you are one to say sentence fillers, there is a way to stop that habit.
Have a friend or a relative by you when you practice making a presentation or speech.
For each time you say "uh" or "um", have your friend or relative create a loud sound such as slamming their hand on a table.
This would condition your brain to prohibit you from saying "uh" or "um".
That is what my teacher told the class to do.
I want to see if I can condition myself to avoid those sentence fillers.
Many great commentators occasionally speak sentence fillers, but that's normal, they don't say it for every sentence.
So yea, something to think about to better ourselves in communication.
