Accident on Highway 77 sends one to hospital

An accident near Robstown sent one person to the hospital this morning. According to police, a box truck headed east on CR48 failed to yield the right-of-way to a pickup truck traveling north on Hwy 77. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The box truck driver was uninjured, but was cited for failure to yield.
