Directed by Allan Brown (Canada, 2012). Official Selection International Film Festival Rotterdam 2012. Disorienting repetition of a section of square dance visualises alienation and the urge to flee and drives the audience crazy. Spun-out film with wall-to-wall image comprising a doubled progressive loop of a piece of square dance footage. The layered audio consists of station announcements that emphasise alienation and a police radio with live pursuit of a fleeing woman. No escape possible.
