(17 Dec 2018) RESTRICTION SUMMARY: STORYLINE: Continuaban este lunes los combates entre rebeldes chiíes y las fuerzas leales al gobierno internacionalmente reconocido de Yemen cerca del estratégico puerto de Hodeida sobre el Mar Rojo. Las hostilidades comenzaron el sábado por la noche y han dejado un saldo de 12 muertos y 25 heridos, dijeron funcionarios el domingo. Estas se produjeron a pesar de un acuerdo firmado en Suecia el jueves, bajo el auspicio de la ONU, para mantener una tregua en Hodeida, por donde entran el 70% de la ayuda humanitaria y otras importaciones. El cese de fuego debe entrar en vigencia el martes, dijeron los funcionarios, que hablaron bajo la condición de anonimato por no estar autorizados a informar a la prensa. Después de cuatro años de guerra civil, 22 de los 29 millones de habitantes de Yemen requieren ayuda, según la ONU.
