This video shows how sellers of bread buns package their product so that they can skimp on adding flavor to 4 out of the 9 buns (44.44% savings on flavoring material). The bread are packages into 9 pieces. Two sides show the flavoring (purple color), while the other two sides have the crust covering so you can't tell if they are flavored or not. In order to convince the supermarket (or to consumers if the supermarket is in on this scam) that the product is entirely flavored, only 5 of the buns need to be colored (the sides without crust). So during packaging, they remove the flavored buns and replace them with plain white ones. Who benefits in the long run? Apparently consumers will find out, and they won't buy the product, or accept sneaky inferior marketing. This type of savings technique is kind of ingenious if you think about it. Going through the trouble on packaging to save on almost 50% of flavoring costs. Long term not too good for seller as consumers find out about it.
