May 29, 2011 8:07 PM EDT Video capture of a LowCountry Barred Owl perched on a pine tree limb to share with others. Earlier that evening I heard the Owl Mating calls and grabbed my cam to search for the Owls. While walking through the woods searching the woodland swamp trees I found one of the owls. These are the cutest owls with big brown eyes and beautiful feathers. My goal is to video wildlife that I come across since so many fish and wildlife are dying across the globe. For example, recently the Ogeechee River had dead fish, clams, and aligators floating in the river. The diagnosis was bacterial infection which is brought on by some sort of stress to the fish and animals. The stressor is not yet known. A bit about the Barred Owl: This Barred owl is approximately 15 inches tall with gray-brown colors, very dark eyes, and a yellowish hooked bill and was located in the woods near swampland. The Barred Owl must have left it's nest to come out and hunt its prey. These owls eat a variety of prey for example snakes, lizards, frogs, squirrels rabbits and this sort of prey is plentiful in swamp woods. Thank you for watching :) Video filmed by YouTuber ln4359
