Singer/songwriter Stuart Wicke has been an active force in the Louisville music scene since 2012. As a solo artist, he drew attention to himself with his powerful voice and poignant lyrics. As a solo artist, his musical style has been described as "old-school", and his lyrics have been compared to songwriters like Paul Simon, Taylor Goldsmith, and David Bazan. Stuart is also a graduate of the U of L Jazz Studies Program, studying bass with Chris Fitzgerald. As a bassist, he is one third of Louisville alternative band Phourist and the Photons. Isaac Poole bio - Isaac Poole is an electric guitarist, bassist and composer who is dedicated to producing the highest quality of musical experience at any given moment. He is a graduate of the U of L Jazz Studies Program with a BM in Jazz Performance, studying guitar with Craig Wagner, and Arranging and Composition with John LaBarbera. Brehnan Miller bio - (I'm still waiting on Brehnan to send me the bio he wants, I'll reply again when I have that, sorry!) Mathew Mozzoni bio - Mathew Mozzoni is a guitarist and bassist based out of Louisville. You can see him in any number of local and regional venues, in a variety of projects including jazz combos, theater pit orchestras, party bands, and solo guitar performances. The band members all met in college (with the exception of Isaac, who I've known since high school), while playing in a cover band and playing jazz gigs around Louisville. All of us are currently, or were students of the U of L Jazz program. My first album "10217" (released 2014) was completely solo guitar and voice, but as I met more people at U of L and got comfortable playing with others, I furnished newer songs with full band arrangements, and ended up with a cast of 9 musicians playing on my second album "Doxology" (2016). The current band lineup wouldn't solidify until late 2016; currently we're working on a new album due in early 2018, and which will be the first to feature the same band from start to finish.
