Award-winning portrait photographer Martin Schoeller, along with 12-time Olympic medalist and author Dara Torres and others with psoriatic disease, specifically psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis, have come together with Celgene for the SHOW MORE OF YOU campaign. The campaign aims to shine a light on psoriatic disease and celebrate the beauty and empowerment of those who live with it. Now in its second year, the campaign has evolved to not only raise awareness about psoriasis, but to also educate about psoriatic arthritis, as up to 30% of those with psoriasis may eventually develop psoriatic arthritis. World-renowned for his portraits, Schoeller has photographed everyone from world leaders such as former President Obama to celebrities like Brad Pitt to those not in the public eye. His collection for SHOW MORE OF YOU features portraits of notable names like Dara Torres (who has plaque psoriasis) and former professional football player and sports analyst Mark Schlereth (who has psoriatic arthritis) as well as everyday people living with psoriatic disease. The many faces of psoriatic disease all have inspiring, and often surprising, stories to tell. Dara Torres, one of the fastest female swimmers in history, is among them.
