Project: Virtual Maverick 2010 I started to use 3D softwares in 1993. since 1998 I became a Maverick lover, and I was not that good in 3D modelling at that period so I search CDs and in the internet for librarys to find some maverick in 3D. Ive never found it 2001 I got my first maverick (for real) and 2005 my second maverick. and im restoring them since then. 2010 I started to learn Blender, and I got inspired to FINALLY work in a 3D maverick project. my own maverick project. as I have access to a real and disassembled maverick, I could take pictures and measurements part by part, and thats how I could realize such realistic final result. I know this car is not popular in USA, but here it is famous by a curious reason. (it is not time to explain it) the differences I know between our mavs and northamerican mavs are the bumpers and sidelights, 77 USA stopped to produce it, and here they produce it for more 2 years. and from 77 to 79 they changed the rearlights model. at this time Im working on rebuilding my site, and right after Im gonna work on the video explaining the process of modelling this virtual maverick. the reason of its color and strange details (like missing the alluminium frames from doors and side windows contrasting with the presents frames on the windshield and rear window) is because I modelled it based on pictures of my first maverick, and I wanted to model it exactly the way it was, because I really miss it and I really miss driving it. this blender work: april/2010 soon Ill be posting more details, pictures of the real maverick used as reference, curiosities about the car, about 3D, and more hugs Ace
