COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli has obtained orders stopping NSSF board from holding any meeting until he is gazzeted as a member or a matter he filed in the labour relations court is heard and determined. Justice Onesmus Makau suspended the NSSF board saying there is public interest in Atwoli representing his members in the board and there was no justification with the attorney general and labour CS Ukur Yattani in delaying to gazette him. The judge ordered that the board’s meetings be halted pending determination of the suit.
