Nate’s recent experience in East Africa with Dr. Jean of STM opened his eyes to the hardship that expectant mothers endure when they’re about to give birth. Nate was shocked to see the sheer numbers of women and how long they had to wait to receive medical care. He believes that the biggest difference that can be made – is to educate the local people (doctors, social workers, lawyers, etc), which is exactly what Save the Mothers is doing. He believes that to support Crossroads Relief and Development is to support an initiative that has been well thought out and well planned – Through Save the Mothers (Dr. Jean). 
Safe motherhood is one of the millennial goals of the UN, and is a cause that everybody can feel that they’re a part of through their own families and relationships with their mothers. Supporting STM and Crossroads is supporting motherhood!
