Arzttruppwagen der BRK Bereitschaft Regenstauf, ein Kombi, der neue Einsatzleitwagen der Unterstützungsgruppe Sanitätseinsatzleitung des BRK Regensburg und der 4-Tragen KTW der BRK Bereitschaft Regenstauf rücken zu einem VU 3 / RD 4 auf der GVS Kürn / Pettenreuth zwischen Weg und Gerstenhof Höhe Apprant an (nördl. Landkreis Regensburg). Es handelt sich um eine Übung, bei welcher unter schwierigen Bedingungen (Winter, Nacht, Kälte, enge Straße) der Zusammenstoß eines mit 30 Personen besetzten Busses mit zwei PKW simuliert wurde, wobei 15 Personen verletzt und 2 eingeklemmt sind. A bus with 30 people (many of them kids and teenagers) on board crashed with two cars, 15 people are hurt and 2 required extrication. It was given 3rd alarm for the FDs and 4th alarm for the EMS. Luckily this was only a drill, but a very realistic one and under difficult conditions: it's winter, cold, in the dark, and a very narrow road. Many things like to floodlight the scene and landing site for a helicopter, digital radio for all the leaders, extrication and treatment of all casualties and the proving og the management structure had to be tested.
