Why writing no hookups will not really help you stop bad guys ?

Today is a big question. Hello guys, and welcome to my YouTube channel. I'm Alex Cormont, your French relationship expert and the author of the bestseller, The Truth About Love.

If you're watching this video, I wanna help you to understand how bad men works, and how you can avoid this big mistake when it comes to dating hub and dating website. I've got so many women all over the world. 

I'm actually in Mauritius Island. It's a small island close to South Africa. I'm doing a workshop and a big speech here, and this is funny for me because everyone now is on dating hub, Tinder, Happn, Bumble, whatever the app you are, I have a lot of women will tell me, "Alex, I put on my profile, no hookups."

That doesn't stop bad guys to come, and I feel people are not really truthful. The reason why this is something really important, if you put no hookups on your profile, that means you want a serious relationship. This is cool, right? Because people know exactly what you want, but the truth about that is this is really not cool, because a man will know what you want. If I'm a bad guy, I would come to you. I will tell you the words that you wanna hear. "I want a serious relationship. I'm able to commit. I know what I want. I never met a woman like."

And then you'll say, "This guy is nice. He seems to know what he wants." But in reality, I'm just here to tell you what you wanna hear. When you put no hookup, that means you're giving everything to the man. He can know everything about you. He can tell you what you wanna hear, and then you'll lose the control of the relationship, and you'll say, "I don't understand. Dating app is not working for me. Dating website is not working for me."

Because in fact, in reality, you just gave too much information. You gave too much information, and this man will know exactly what you want. When we see no hookups, that means a woman who's looking for a serious relationship. If I can tell her what she wants, I'll go straight to her house, and I can get her, which is not what I want for you. I know it's really not easy to hear what I'm saying, but don't give too much information.

Let this man ask you question. Let this man trying to attract you. Stay in a position where you get the power. This man has to fight for you. When you think like that, you could write whatever you want in your profile. What do you like? What is the best movie that you have ever seen? Where do you wanna travel? Because we wanna create an emotional connection. Not rational connection. What is the difference?

Emotional is more, "Wow, we spend time together, and I didn't see the time. The time goes fast with you." The rational connection is, "You wanna be in a relationship? I will tell you what you want. I will give you what you want, even if it's not myself." And then in three months, you would be, "This guy is a bad guy. We're not finally compatible." Why? Because he told you what you wanna hear, and you told him what he wants to hear, not who you are exactly. Not who is this guy exactly?

Change your profile. No hookups. We don't care about that. We don't want hookup sucks. I 100% agree with you, but when you tell that to a guy, he will say, "This is an easy girl. I can tell her what she wants to hear, and then I'll put her in my bed." You can wait the 90 days or whatever, but that will never change the situation, because the man's intention are not good, are not right. This is not what I want for you.
