Photography in an autumn woodland is usually so relaxing and beautiful that the pictures practically take themselves. This time however, I found myself off the trail and in the brush, snagged and surrounded by sticks and dense foliage. Is it possible to find a lovely image in that? Or even to make my way out in one piece after the rain starts coming down? As you can imagine, it was all worth it, and I enjoy sharing the trek while talking camera settings, composition and techniques.
