To work as a stuntwoman is the most exciting thing I could ever imagine doing. Exploding, crashing and falling while portraying amazing women in film, tv and games for a living. So imagine my frustration when watching a rehearsal of a fight scene at one of the biggest theatre scenes in Sweden and the director told all the women in the ensemble to go to the back of the crowd, as far away from the action as possible. I want the stories that we tell on stage and screen to show girls and boys that skill and ambition is a deal-breaker when it comes to who should be on the frontlines, not your gender.
