So what happens when terms of service trump how we express ourselves? And in an ecosystem where misinformation (often accompanied by toxic trolling) traverses platforms, who is responsible when the platforms are gamed and abused? How much human vs. machine intervention (if any) should happen? As more and more people come online, Mozilla Fellows are asking the difficult questions and pushing everyone to take a closer look at long-term impact. Join us at Mozilla’s San Francisco offices next Monday October 1st at noon, when Mozilla Fellow in Residence Renée DiResta will host a panel with Mike Masnick from TechDirt, and Guillaume Chaslot from Algo Transparency to discuss these questions and more.
